Presentation Guide

Guidelines for Oral Presentation:

  1. The APAMI 2024 Scientific Committee has provided a PowerPoint Template (sent via email) to the oral presenters. Note: the use of template is recommended.
  2. Presenters are allotted 8 minutes to deliver their presentation, and 5 minutes for Q&A.
  3. Onsite presentation is preferred. However pre-recorded video presentations may be allowed on a case-by-case basis.
  4. Questions from the audience will be moderated by the session chair.
  5. All speakers are required to submit their presentation on or before September 13, 2024.
  6. Presenters should ensure the compatibility of their presentation to both Windows and Macintosh software.
  7. We request that all speakers bring a copy of their presentations that is saved in preferably a new USB flash drive to serve as a backup for your presentation.
  8. Be in your assigned session room at least 30 minutes prior to your session commencing.


Guidelines for Poster Presentation:

  1. The poster must have the words, APAMI 2024 – 13th Biennial Conference of the Asia Pacific Association for Medical Informatics.”
  2. The poster should contain the following contents in 2 columns (as shown in the sample poster layout):
    • Title of the Presentation
    • Author/s Information
    • Main Research Results:
      • Introduction
      • Literature Review
      • Research Methods
      • Conclusions
      • References
    • Contact Information of the Author/s
      • Email Address
      • Contact Number / Messaging App Details
      • Note: A URL Shortener or a QR Code linked to multiple contact details, a messaging app, or a website can also be used.
  3. LED Screens will be provided during the presentation:
    • The file format should be in JPEG
    • Resolution: 1080 x 1920 pixels (150 dpi) 
    • Functionalities: USB & with Remote Control
  4. If the authors/presenters wish to bring and use their tarpaulin or presentation board, we have provided a designated space in the exhibit room. Kindly inform the organizing committee on or before September 20, 2024. The authors bringing their own tarpaulin should bring their own banner stand as well.
  5. At least one author must be present during the 2-day event.
  6. All participants who are accepted for Poster Presentation are required to submit a soft copy of their posters on or before September 20, 2024 (Friday) via email.
  7. We request that all presenters bring a copy of their digital posters that is saved in preferably a new USB flash drive to serve as a backup for their presentation.
